ACCESS2MEXCYT

The Project

The ACCESS2MEXCYT project aims at increasing the knowledge and  participation of European researchers in Mexican research programmes, thus contributing to improve reciprocity between the European and Mexican community in Science, Technology and Innovation.

The ACCESS2MEXCYT will be the EU entry point to access information on:

• Mexican research and innovation programmes and calls open to EU participation, guidelines on how to participate;
• Bilateral S&T agreements between EU Member States and Mexico;
• Mexican S&T system

EU researchers can find relevant information on the website (www.access2mexcyt.eu) and subscribing to the bi-annual newsletter. Info-days in EU and a brokerage event in Mexico will increase the knowledge of Mexican research programmes and the networking between EU and Mexican researchers.

The project will increase the S&T cooperation between EU and Mexico by improving access to Mexican research and innovation programmes, and will foster the mutual know how on cooperation opportunities. The identification of obstacles for participation and the monitoring of EU participation will be the basis for improving the EU-Mexico common research area in the frame of the EU-Mexico Joint Steering Committee.
