PhD scholarships with Australian CRCs

crcaThe Collaborative Research Centres (CRC) programme is an initiative of the Australian Commonwealth Government. It was launched in 1990 to strengthen collaborative research between industry, research organisations, education and relevant government agencies. There are currently 44 CRCs around Australiacovering various industries including manufacturing technology, information and communication technology, mining and energy, agriculture and rural based manufacturing, environment and medical science and technology.

The CRC Association provides advice and support to existing and potential CRCs. It aims "To enhance Australia's industrial, commercial and economic growth through the development of sustained, user-driven, cooperative public-private research centres that achieve high levels of outcomes in adoption and commercialisation".  The Association sends out a regular email newsletter which this issue details PhD scholarships currently available with a number of CRCs.
