Flagship Collaboration Fund Clusters

The next round of the CSIRO Flagship Collaboration Fund Clusters is now open.

The Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is Australia’s national science agency. We are one of the largest and most diverse research organisations in the world. Our National Research Flagships Program addresses complex challenges by forming large scale research partnerships and the Flagship Collaboration Fund helps to facilitate these partnerships by providing funding.

The major focus of the Flagship Collaboration Fund are the Flagship Clusters. They are significant high impact activities where CSIRO seeks to engage external partners. Flagship Clusters will be funded for three years at A$1 million per annum and applications for the next round are invited in line with the following specifications:

  • Technology and Engineering for Extreme Events – Climate Adaptation Flagship
  • Marine and Coastal Carbon Biogeochemistry – Wealth from Oceans Flagship
  • Future Grid – Energy Transformed Flagship

More detailed information and contact details are available at www.csiro.au/Flagship-Cluster

The closing date for this round is 24 February 2012.
