Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE) is a non-profit research organisation that provides information, assistance and training on research and technological development programmes of the European Union. APRE was established upon the joint initiative of the Italian Ministry of Research and the European Commission in 1989, and grouping together many member organisations, including both public and private research centres, industries, industrial associations, chambers of commerce science parks and 40 universities, with the main objective to promote the research activities of its members as well the participation on national and European RTD programmes. APRE has its head office situated in Rome as well as regional help desks that form a network throughout the national territory. APRE is present throughout Italy and assists Italian researchers through network of its help desks and members. APRE has sound contacts with organisms that carry out similar roles within their respective countries. In particular APRE is part of the National Contact Point and Enterprise Europe Network.
HELP-FORWARD is the strategic alliance of the Research and the Industrial world in Greece. It was established by the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) and the Federation of Greek Industries (FGI) in 1991, with the support of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) and aimed primarily at the promotion of the participation of Greek firms and laboratories in the EU RTD programmes. Since 1991, HELP-FORWARD offers technology transfer brokerage services to Greek companies and research institutions and provides information, mediation and advisory services to all stages of technology transfer. HELP-FORWARD is administered by FORTH, operates as a non-profit private organisation and draws its funds from the European Commission (Innovation Programme) and from services to its clients. HELP-FORWARD is one of the 71 Enterprise Europe Network in Europe. HELP-FORWARD has participated in 30 projects, all of them related to provision of services to SMEs, laboratories and public organisations in Greece and abroad on research, innovation and technology transfer issues.
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is a premier industrial research and development organisation in India with a network of 37 laboratories spread throughout the country. EIRC Consulting Private Limited (EIRC), popularly known as Euro-India Research Centre is a research and management consulting firm based in Bangalore. EIRC’s main activity is to assist European and India collaboration and partnerships in research and technological development on Framework programmes, national programmes and regional programmes. EIRC provides comprehensive training and consulting services to Indian and European researcher organizations & establishes linkages through its online EuroIndiaResearch portal which acts as a gateway for European Funding in research and development. EIRC has assisted 60% of successful Indian organizations in FP. EIRC’s team is composed of consultants with both general and technical knowledge of catering and contracting services for specific industry niches. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is an autonomous organization set up in 1963 by the government of India to help professionalize the country's foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources, generating, analyzing and disseminating data, and conducting research. IIFT has set up the Centre for International Trade in Technology with financial and technical support from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India.
