Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (in brief, MES of Russia) was established on March 9, 2004 by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation N 314. The MES of Russia acquired the functions relating to the adoption of regulatory legal acts in the sphere of activity of the previously abolished Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and the functions relating to the adoption of regulatory legal acts in the scientific field implemented by the abolished Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies of the Russian Federation, as well as the functions relating to the adoption of regulatory legal acts in the area of activities of the Russian Patents and Trade Marks Agency.      


Rosnauka is a state public body with responsibility for realisation of state science and innovation policy, state services and management of state property in science and innovation.


"POISK" (The Search) is Russian weekly newspaper for professionals in the field of science, teaching, IT and managers in the sphere of science and education. The newspaper was founded in 1989 by Russian Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Industry, Science & Technology, Ministry of Education. Now its constitutors are Russian Academy of Sciences and "POISK Publishing".

EIROforum is collaboration between seven European intergovernmental scientific research organisations that are responsible for infrastructures and laboratories: CERN, EFDA-JET, EMBL, ESA, ESO, ESRF and ILL. It is the mission of EIROforum to combine the resources, facilities and expertise of its member organisations to support European science in reaching its full potential.


COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is one of the longest-running European instruments supporting cooperation among scientists and researchers across Europe



The project BILAT-RUS aims at contributing to the sustainable implementation of the Common Space on Research, Education and Culture between the EU and Russia and at further strengthening the participation of Russia in Community programmes - most prominently the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7).


The ERA.Net RUS project will contribute to the success of the European Research Area (ERA) by improving the coherence and coordination across Europe of international S&T cooperation programmes with Russia. The project focus will be on exploring options for linking bilateral S&T programmes in a variable geometry.

IncoNet EECA

The partnership between the countries of the European Union and Eastern Europe/Central Asia (EECA) is of utmost importance for the political, economic and social development of both regions.  The project will address policy stakeholders from the EU/AC and EECA countries. The aim is to establish and sustain three dedicated S&T Policy Dialogue Platforms: one bi-regional EU/AC with all Eastern European and Central Asian countries, and two bilateral platforms for the respective dialogues of EU/AC with Russia and with Ukraine.

IncrEAST is an information platform designed to intensify international cooperation in science and technology. The aim is to facilitate the networking of research organizations and institutions in the countries of Eastern Europe / Central Asia (EECA) and the European Union and to promote scientific dialogue between EECA countries and EU Member States and the European Research Area. The platform offers regular, detailed and up-to-date information about the most important developments in the area of science and technology in EECA Countries.
